Logging activity is important so you can see exactly where you left off with a potential customer and even start to analyze what type of activity leads to won opportunities. Spiro automates some activity for you so you can spend more time selling and less time doing data entry.
Activity is always logged on the contact level. To get started, navigate to the search tab or drill in to an opportunity from the opportunities tab to find the correct contact.
You will see four different actions or ways to log activity:
1. Send an email: Choose the email icon to pull up your email templates for fast and easy outbound emails
2. Make a call: Choose the phone icon to dial directly out of your Spiro app. When you hang up you will instantly be prompted to log your activity and set a reminder.
NOTE: Spiro can not automatically prompt you to log an inbound call, so be sure to still log that activity by searching for the contact and choosing the Log Activity icon.
TIP: Use the dictation button on your mobile phone to speak your notes to Spiro! You can log activity without any typing involved!
3. Set a Reminder: Set a reminder for yourself so you know when to reach out next. Your Assistant will send you push notifications and emails to remind you follow up. You can see a list of your daily reminders from the Assistant tab in your mobile app.
4. Log Activity: Choose this action to quickly record calls or in person meetings. Any time you log activity you will always be be prompted to set a reminder.
Activity logged and reminders set will populate in the Interactions and Reminders sections for the company, contact and any opportunities associated with the contact.
