Opportunities are the active deals you are working on with companies/contacts in Spiro. You can record and easily update opportunity information such as the amount, expected close date, sales stage and more.
Create an opportunity with an existing company or contact:
The first step to creating a new opportunity with an existing company or contact is to navigate to the Search bar in the top of the page and search for the company or contact who the opportunity is associated with.
Always search for a company or contact before creating a new one to prevent duplicates.
Once you find the company or contact, scroll to the bottom of the page and choose "New Opportunity" under the Opportunities section.
Fill in any Opportunity information and hit save.
Creating an opportunity for a new company or contact:
If you are creating an Opportunity with a brand new company and contact, navigate to the Opportunities tab and click "New Opportunity" in top right hand corner. You will have 2 options for creating a new opportunity:
1. Creating an Opportunity for a company
2. Creating an Opportunity for a contact. This type is recommended because it will create the Company, Contact and Opportunity at the same time

Enter in the company/contact and opportunity information and hit "Save".
To view the opportunity you can use the search bar to search for the name of the opportunity or the contact or company the opportunity is associated with. You can also view a list of opportunities from the Opportunities tab in Spiro.
